Datin Paduka Tan Siok Choo, granddaughter of Tun Tan Cheng Lock and daughter of Tun Tan Siew Sin, delivered a keynote speech.

Mr. H'ng Gaik Hong, Senior Lecturer at ISER, drew on Tun Tan Cheng Lock's multicultural experience in Malaya to shed light on China's vision of a community with a shared future for mankind.

In his presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr Yap Hon Lun, Head of ISER, reviewed the course of Malaysia-China diplomatic ties and outlined prospects for future collaboration.
