Dr. Wee Ka Siong (President of MCA and Chairman of the TARC Education Foundation, (eighth from left), launched the seminal work The Malaysian Chinese Association: From Alliance to Barisan Nasional (1949–1974). Co-authored by Dato’ Sri Dr. Hou Kok Chung, Dr. Yap Hon Lun and Mr. H’ng Gaik Hong of the ISER at Dewan San Choon, Wisma MCA, the event celebrated the historical analysis of MCA’s political evolution.
