Dato' Sri Dr. Hou Kok Chung, Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors, gave the opening address (top left), with Prof. Li Wei, Dean, Graduate School, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences responding (bottom left). Prof. Dr. Ir. Lee Sze Wei, President, TAR UMT, then presented a plaque to Prof. Li Wei, witnessed by Dato' Sri Dr. Hou.
Prof. Liu Liang, Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Economics at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (top left), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chin Mui Yin, Head of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research at TAR UMT (bottom left), delivered their keynote speeches. The session was chaired by Dr. Yap Hon Lun, Head of ISER. As a token of appreciation, Prof. Dr. Loke Chui Fung, Vice President of TAR UMT, presented them with certificates.
